If $E \subseteq \left[ {c,d} \right]$ and $m\left( E \right) = 0$ where $m$ is Lebesgue measure, then does $m\left( {{g^{ - 1}}\left( E \right) \cap H} \right) = 0$? How about $c =  - \infty $ & $d = \infty $?
