Java中List调用remove时报UnsupportedOperationException的原因及解决方法

List在修改时报java.util.ConcurrentModificationException的原因和解决方法已经很常见了,一般面试时也会问到,可以参考这篇文章:http://www.cnblogs.com/liuling/p/2013-8-21-04.html,但是今天遇到了另一种异常UnsupportedOperationException,代码如下:


public static void main(String[] args) {
List<Integer> list = Arrays.asList(1,2,3,4,5);
Iterator<Integer> iterator = list.iterator();
while(iterator.hasNext()){
Integer integer = iterator.next();
if(integer % 2 == 0){
iterator.remove();
}
}
for(Integer i : list){
System.out.println(i);
}
}

看样子是返回的list不支持修改的操作,根据调试结果,实际上程序是运行到了AbstractList<E>中的remove方法中,而可以看到源码中该类下边的几个修改(新增、删除等)方法都是抛出UnsupportedOperationException的,代码如下:

这是为什么呢?因为我习惯性以为Arrays.asList返回的是一个java.util.ArrayList但实际上并不是,一下是源码:

可以看到返回的实际上是一个静态内部类ArrayList<E>,而该类虽然继承了AbstractList,但是并没有Override抽象类中关于新增、删除的方法,因此才会抛出UnsupportedOperationException异常。
解决方法很简单,把返回的List包装一下就行:

List<Integer> list = new ArrayList<Integer>(Arrays.asList(1,2,3,4,5));
