The difference btw the noise and disturbance:
noise 是一种随机的波动/扰动;
dist 是确定性的, 有一定周期的.
(下图黄色图例会随着dist周期类似于正弦波向右移动式的摆动)
那么如何measure the intensity of the noise呢?
通过求其RMS(root mean square均方根).
注: 分析来自the devices or the circuit的noise, 从freq domain的角度分析时, 要先通过bandpass filter去获取想要的某portion of the noise power spectral density. 例如, bandwidth = 1 HZ, 那么我们关注的部分就是in the 1 HZ bw around the f, f可以改变.
noise power spectral density: 表示的是the power of the noise如何在freq上分布.
如果随着f改变, noise power spectral density的值不改变, 为一个常数, 那么这个nosie被称为white noise白噪音.
