1. Can only select measures from one table ( Transactional data)
2. Two steps of view creation reflected in editor tabs
Tab "Data Foundation" ---> Create the data foundation （Fact Table)
Optional:join the database tables
Select attributes and measure from table(s)
Optional: create calculated and restricted measures
Tab "Logical View" ---> Join attribute view to the data foundation
This is where you can drag attribute view into the editor
3. Data preview is only working on the result set that is specified on top (max 5000 rows without re-configuration).
4. There are three main views one can select from when previewing data
Raw Data
Distinct Values -- graphical and text format indentifying unique values
Analysis -- select fields ( attribute and measure ) to display in graphical format.
