Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite PHP 5.5.14 free type support fix

通过将php将至5.4来勉强支持freetype扩展，不推荐此方法

after upgrading to new Mac OS X Yosemite, i noticed that free type support is not working with php 5.5, so i had to downgrade to php 5.4 using homebrew

first install Xcode Command line Tool

xcode-select --install

then install Homebrew

then run the following commands

brew update
brew install homebrew/php/php54

then add the following to your ~/.bashrc

export PATH="$(brew --prefix homebrew/php/php54)/bin:$PATH"

then edit apache config /etc/apache2/httpd.conf

LoadModule php5_module /usr/local/opt/php54/libexec/apache2/libphp5.so

and comment the following ling

#LoadModule php5_module libexec/apache2/libphp5.so

restart apache

sudo apachectl restart
