With or without minibufexplorer, ":q" only quits the current window (and
quits vim if the current window is the only window or if apart from it there
is only a help window).
To quit vim when in split-windows mode, use ":qa" (or ":qa!" to quit without
saving or ":xa" to save all and quit).
