我看到一作前些年做virtual machine performance profiling，到这一篇一下子做起来理论与算法，真是了不起。
本文的contribution在于提出了一种新的causally consistent算法，其性能可与条件更为宽松的eventual consistency相比较。
这样一来这种算法在geo-distributed datastore中就很有吸引力。
我这里引用作者的对于causal consistency、strong consistency、以及eventual consistency的很好的总结：Causal consistency is attractive, because it avoids the long latencies and partition-intolerance associated with strong consistency, yet it also avoids some of the anomalies possible with eventual consistency
我很感兴趣这篇文章与Google 的Sparrow如何比较，因为他们都涉及相似的应用场景。
至于这篇文章具体的算法，我短时间内无法理解，留作今后阅读。
