LeetCode#58 Length of Last Word

Problem Definition:

Given a string s consists of upper/lower-case alphabets and empty space characters ‘ ‘, return the length of last word in the string.

If the last word does not exist, return 0.

Note: A word is defined as a character sequence consists of non-space characters only.

For example,
Given s = "Hello World",
return 5.

Solution:

1）(It‘s Just python...)

1 def lengthOfLastWord(s):
2         return len(s.rstrip().split(‘ ‘)[-1])

2）Or we can use regex:

1 def lengthOfLastWord(s):
2         p=re.compile(‘\w+‘)
3         m=p.findall(s)
4         return 0 if m==[] else len(m[-1])
